If you love cars, action, police chases and exploring a big city, you probably know Grand Theft Auto, also called GTA.
GTA 5 has been one of the most popular games for many years. Now Rockstar Games is bringing us GTA 6.
So what is different? Let's look at the biggest changes in a simple way.
More Buildings
GTA 6 is designed with many more usable interiors and places for players to explore.
New Police System
Police searches can use more information about suspects, including clothing and vehicles.
Jason & Lucia
GTA 6 follows Jason and Lucia, a pair whose relationship is an important part of the story.
Cars & Weapons
Vehicles and weapons remain an important part of the GTA experience.
🏢 1. Building Access
One exciting part of GTA 6 is the number of buildings and places players can enter.
In GTA 5, many buildings look real from the outside, but you cannot enter them.
GTA 6 is designed to have many more usable interiors. Rockstar developer Rob Nelson has described the number of accessible buildings as a huge number.
This can make the city feel more alive because buildings are not only decorations. They can become part of the player's adventure.
🚗 2. Cars and Vehicle Spawning
Cars are one of the most important parts of GTA. In GTA 5, players can steal cars and also use cheat codes to create some vehicles.
GTA 6 will have many vehicles, including cars, boats and other types of transport shown in Rockstar's official material.
However, Rockstar has not published a complete official list of GTA 6 vehicle-spawn cheat codes.
Many websites and videos claim to show GTA 6 cheat codes. Until Rockstar confirms a code, do not assume that it is real.

Weapons are another important part of GTA. GTA 5 has weapon cheats that can give players weapons and ammunition.
GTA 6 also features weapons. Rockstar's official GTA VI information even lists special weapons and weapon variants in its edition information.
But there is still no complete official Rockstar list of GTA 6 weapon-spawn cheat codes.

One of the biggest changes in GTA 6 is its two main characters: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Jason and Lucia are connected by both their personal relationship and their criminal lives.
Rockstar describes them as people who are forced to rely on each other after a job goes wrong.
Lucia wants a better life. Jason also wants a better life, but both of them become involved in dangerous situations.

GTA 5 gives players three main characters:
- Michael
- Franklin
- Trevor
GTA 6 instead focuses on Jason and Lucia. This gives the new game a different type of story.
🚔 6. Wanted System
The police system is one of the most interesting areas to compare.
In GTA 5, players get wanted stars when they commit crimes. The maximum wanted level is five stars.
GTA 6 has shown a six-star wanted meter in official footage. But the important change is not simply the extra star.
GTA 6 appears to give police more information when searching for a suspect.
- What the suspect looks like
- What the suspect is wearing
- What vehicle was used
- Where the crime happened
This can make escaping the police more interesting.
👕 7. Clothes May Matter
Imagine you commit a crime while wearing a red shirt. Police may be looking for someone wearing that shirt.
If you escape and change your clothes, it may become harder for police to identify you.
This is one of the ideas shown in GTA VI material and developer coverage.
🚘 8. Your Vehicle May Give You Away
Your vehicle can also become part of the police search.
If police know that a suspect escaped in a particular car, changing the vehicle could become useful.
This creates a more detailed police experience than simply driving away and waiting for the stars to disappear.
🌴 9. A Bigger and More Detailed World
GTA 6 returns to Vice City and expands into the state of Leonida.
The world includes busy roads, beaches, towns, countryside, water areas, businesses, houses, wildlife and many other locations.
Rockstar is building the game for current-generation consoles, allowing it to create a highly detailed world.

GTA 5 is still a huge game. But GTA 6 is being designed with newer technology and a different approach to the open world.
More Detail
Characters, vehicles, buildings and nature have much more visible detail.
More Interiors
More buildings and interiors are designed to be part of the game world.
More Detailed Police
Police searches can involve more information about suspects.
Leonida
Vice City returns as part of the larger Leonida setting.
